Our Latest Project is Complete and Ready for the World — "Reflections of Courage"

Reflections of Courage is a poignant 50-minute documentary chronicling the extraordinary journey of Eddy Boas and his family through the harrowing experiences of the Holocaust, their post-war struggles, and their hopeful new beginnings in Australia.

The film delves into their pre-war life in Holland, survival in Nazi concentration camps, and the small acts of kindness that sustained them. It explores themes of resilience, identity, and belonging—celebrating the human spirit's capacity for renewal and the essence of being Australian: a nation of hope, diversity, and new beginnings.

The documentary is a powerful reminder of history's impact and the enduring significance of compassion and humanity.

We’re proud to share that Reflections of Courage is currently screening at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival, where it has been nominated in three major categories: Best Director, Best Australian Documentary Film, and the Supreme Jury Prize.

The film has also received international recognition, winning:

Best Historical Film – Cannes World Film Festival

Best Historical Film – New York Film & Cinematography Festival

Best Feature and Best Director – LA Short Film Awards

These accolades reflect the dedication behind the project and the powerful impact of Eddy’s story. We’re honored to see the film resonate so deeply with audiences and critics around the world.
